Each year at the Miami International Boat Show, Hatteras will crown a Hatteras Sportfishing Team Champion based on that boat's fishing success during the previous calendar year. This competition is a boat-based event; all accomplishments must be achieved aboard one Hatteras sportfishing convertible as entered in Hatteras owners database.
Hatteras sportfishing convertible owners who want to have their efforts considered for the HST Championship, or who believe they have qualified for a cash prize, should:
1. Call 252-672-7306 or e-mail mkt@hatterasyachts.com to make sure we have a record of your vessel in our owners database (be sure to provide your hull identification number).
2. Submit a "resume" of your boat's 2005 accomplishments via mail, to:

3. Be sure to include supporting documentation, including news clippings, IGFA certificates or official event press releases. Submission deadline is January 15, 2006.
Participation in the Hatteras Sportfishing Team competition is based on an honor system. Where no specific tournament rules apply, all catches must adhere to published IGFA guidelines governing angling rules and etiquette. Winners will be chosen by the Hatteras marketing department and will be final. No challenges or protests will be accepted.
